VIPs, a muse, and five perfumes took part in the launch party for the latest Jean-Paul Guerlain, in Versailles (Yvelines). A nose, out of the ordinary, who returns to the front of the stage.
To the left of the majestic Palace of Versailles (Yvelines), stands the magnificent Hôtel de France and its mirror lounge. A nice nod to the impressive Hall of Mirrors of the Sun King.

This idyllic setting was chosen on Tuesday March 22, 2017 by the Parisian start-up My Exclusive Collection to announce the surprising return of one of the greatest French noses, Jean-Paul Guerlain.
No less than 450 guests from high society were invited to this great evening. Among them, Prince Salman of Saudi Arabia, Ken Yang, the portraitist of the royal court of Malaysia, and dozens of specialists from the world of perfumed luxury.
In the background, the Duo des Fleurs, a piece of the opera Lakmé by Léo Delibes, sung by Mathilde Rossignol and Marie Verwaerde with, on the piano, an international big name, Simon Ghraichy.
A rose bearing the name of the artist
« I started at the age of 16-17 in this world and I am 81 this year. I decided to create this collection to pay tribute to women and men. And as I have always said, perfume is the most intense of memories. A good perfume is one that makes a woman desirable. I make perfumery for my pleasure and for friends. »
- Jean-Paul Guerlain -
This return of the retired perfume designer to the world of cosmetics comes on top of his exceptional outing last year, on the occasion of the creation of a rose bearing the name of Jean-Paul Guerlain.
